Public Notice Portal now live!:
Public notices are now available online by clicking on this LINK making them more accessible to a wide cross-section of residents. This improves the transparency of public messages by placing them in the most convenient channel for residents
Why are public notices moving online?
The decision to publish notices online follows research and consultation showing that the majority of Hampshire residents do not see public notices in the newspaper but do have access to the internet
All notices will be published online, and the statutory notices will continue to be published in local newspapers as before in accordance with current legislation.

Motocross application 11/1233/FUL

The latest motocross application, 11/01233/FUL, which closed for consultation on 16th September is now being re-advertised. The closing date for additional responses is the 21st December 2011. The reference number remains unchanged and residents are able to respond to the additional information submitted. This is an English Cogger Partnership noise assessment from 2009, a change to remove additional bunding adjacent to the A34 flyover, and also the City Council Environmental Protection Officer's report which includes various recommendations relating to noise and dust.

A34 Winchester to Litchfield Tree Management
The Highways Agency will be undertaking essential tree management works at various locations on the A34 between Winchester and Litchfield. From Hampshire Police and Trading Standards – Postal Scam!
If a card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a Premium rate number). DO NOT call this number – if you call the number and you start to hear a recorded message you will already have been billed £315 for the phone call.
If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 020 7239 6655.
