Oliver's Battery Fete
|
Our Annual Fete is on Saturday September 8th 12- 4pm. |
|
This year’s fete is currently being prepared and will again include a range of activities, including the fun dog show, children's games, tug of war and miniature ride on railway. There will be lots of stalls including bric a brac, coconut shy, splat the rat, a toy stall, book stall, craft stalls, and many more. A raffle with some great prizes donated from our local shops and businesses, and restaurants in Winchester. The hog roast proved very popular last year and will return, as will teas and cakes in the hall. |
| This year in addition to the knobbly knees competition we plan to run a Glamorous Granny competition so please bear that in mind! |
| Last years fete was very well attended and we hope that you will put the date for this year in your diary and come along and meet up with friends and neighbours from your community. Last year we raised around £1700 which has enabled the parish council to provide grants to local organisations including Citizens Advice Bureau, OB Countryside Group, The Battery Club, Oliver’s Battery Pre School and Oliver’s Battery Primary School. |
| We are in need of some help to make this another great event for Oliver's Battery. Could you give just one hour to help on a stall? |
