3rd Winchester Brownies

The 3rd Winchester Brownie Pack, which meets at St Mark's Church, first met in June 1971.  They were registered with the Guide Association in January 1972 and so are now celebrating their 40th Anniversary. The pack has 24 Brownies, although one or two have left during the Autumn Term their places will be filled in the New Year from girls who are on the waiting list.

There is a small waiting list so any parents who wish their daughters to become Brownies can add them to the list at any time.

Currently the leaders are Sue Sadler (Brown Owl), Brenda Knight (Tawny Owl) and two University students named Megan and Beth.

Meetings are held during term time from 17.45 to 19.15 on a Tuesday evening. The pack is church sponsored (but is open to all) which means that the subscriptions per term are currently a very reasonable £6.

There is also an annual subscription to the Guide Association which for 2012 is £21.

At the end of the summer term 2012 Sue Sadler and Brenda Knight will be retiring as Guiders and new leaders are being sought to take over.
