Diamond Jubilee Celebrations in Charlton
The events listed below are those which have so far been reported to the Planning Group co-ordinating these events in the village. As others come to their notice they will be added to this list.

Big Jubilee Lunch
Bring your own Picnic
Sunday June 3rd 12noon
At St Thomas’ Church. Open to ALL
(Cancelled if wet)Big Jubilee Service
A Civic Service on Sun June 3rd at 10.30am.
All to assemble at the Millennium Stone, then proceed to St Thomas’. Open to ALL.Big Jubilee Party
A Village Party/Pot Luck Lunch
Sat June 2nd 1.00pm – 6.00pm
Village centre, opposite Carter's Meadow.
Open to ALL. BYO picnic with cake to share.
Childrens' fancy dress (see below)
Adults welcome to dress up in any Jubilee themed costumeBig Jubilee Thank You. Individuals to write and sign a personal thank-you letter to the Queen ,
on beautiful hand-stamped Vellum paper
to be collected by the Anglican Diocese and forwarded to Her Majesty.
Will be available at all publicised events in the village.Diamond Tea Party
Thursday June 7th 2.30pm - 6.00pm at St Thomas' Church to include entertainment.
Open to all. Tickets £5 (Profits to Countess of Brecknock Hospice).(Limited to 78 people)

e) Bouncy Castle to be hired for the Big Party event.
The Parish Council has set aside some monies to support these events but is not responsible for their organisation and is publishing this information as a public duty. Insurance and Public Liability( to ensure correct cover is in place) is the responsibility of event organisers and TVBC has website, or may be contacted directly for advice.
