Happy New Year to all Allbrook and North Boyatt Parish Residents!

Allbrook Parish Council has changed it's name!

On 16th December 2010, following public consultation, Eastleigh Borough Council agreed to change the name of the Parish Council to 'Allbrook and North Boyatt Parish Council'.

If you have any ideas where you would like additional play areas to be located in the Parish contact the Parish Clerk by the end of June 2011.

March 2011

Census 2011

A census is a count of the population. We have had one in the UK every ten years to find out more about who we are as a nation. We ask everyone to tell us a bit about themselves to help census users decide how best to plan and deliver the everyday services we all need – like housing, education, healthcare and transport. 

The census will take place 27 March 2011 and by now you should have received your questionnaire. For further information go to:

Annual Parish Meeting - 27th April 2011

Every English Parish must have a Parish Meeting (Local Government Act 1972, s13(1)). The meeting consists of the local government electors registered for the area for which it is held.The meeting must be held each year between 1st March and 1st June and after 6pm in the evening.

It is an opportunity for the Parish Council and organisations within the parish to report on their activities during the year. It is also an opportunity for residents to ask questions and provide feedback to all those groups.

Allbrook and North Boyatt Parish Council are now responsible for the management of Lincoln's Rise and Broomhill Allotment sites. We are interested in hearing your comments on how the allotments should be managed in the future. Please contact the Parish Clerk.

September 2011

Annual Return

The Parish Council's books are audited every year by the Audit Commission, as part of the annual auditing process. The Parish Clerk is pleased to report that the Parish's accounts for the year ending March 2011 have been approved by the Audit Commission.

Clerk's Leave

The Parish Clerk will be on leave between Wednesday 28th September - Thursday 20th October 2011. All correspondence will be dealt with on the Clerk's return. If there are any urgent items please contact the Chairman of the Parish Council.

October 2011

Eastleigh Borough Council is producing their Local Plan for the Borough for the years 2011 – 2029. The public consultation period runs from 29th October 2011 – 3rd January 2012.

Residents can have their say by contacting EBC on the above contact details, or passing any comments onto the Parish Council who will be submitting a response. The Parish Council will discuss the Local Plan at their meeting on 23rd November 2011.

November 2011

A Extraordinary meeting of the Parish Council is being held on 14th December 2011 to discuss the effects of Eastleigh Borough's Local Plan 2011 - 2029 on the Parish. The meeting is being held at Otterbourne Village Hall at 7pm. A Planing Officer from Eastleigh Borough Council will be present to answer any question you may have from 6pm.
